Pemberton Associates, founded in 1989 by Barbara Pemberton, has played a significant role in developing the careers of many actors. Mark, who is associated with the agency, has a background deeply rooted in the arts.
Mark’s journey in the arts began through his mother Barbara Pemberton, who worked at Contact Theatre in Manchester. Later on, Mark himself got involved in various aspects of theater production, crewing and working on numerous shows at Contact Theatre.
After completing his degree, Mark went on to work at the Cornerhouse in Manchester, which is known for its contributions to contemporary visual arts and cinema. Following that, he took on the role of Publicity Manager for The Leadmill in Sheffield, a popular live music and nightclub venue, and then served as the Marketing Manager for The Unity Theatre in Liverpool, which is a well-known theater and arts venue.
Mark’s extensive experience in the arts led him to join Pemberton Associates, where he has been a part of the agency for over 20 years. He also played a pivotal role in opening the agency’s London office in collaboration with Fay Hallam. At Pemberton Associates, Mark has been dedicated to representing actors in various entertainment mediums, including theater, television, film, and radio, contributing to the agency’s long-standing reputation in the industry.
